Changing hearts and minds
Ella is a 12 year old whose hand had clawed with no sensation for five weeks, doctors said there was nothing they could do. Three weeks after using Anti inflammation and anti anxiety she has full use now.
For thousands of years, our ancestors looked to the natural world for answers. In stillrooms, apothecaries and family homes, plants were carefully gathered, extracted and crafted into tinctures, tonics and remedies - their knowledge passed from one generation to the next.
As modern medicine advanced, much of this traditional plant wisdom quietly faded from everyday life. Somewhere along the way, many of us became disconnected from what our ancestors understood so deeply: that some of nature’s most remarkable tools for supporting health have been growing all around us.
Greenman was born from a passion for reconnecting with those roots.
For eight years, we have worked with plants we have long known hold extraordinary potential, carefully crafting powerful botanical tinctures and witnessing firsthand the difference they can make in people’s lives. That experience has only strengthened our belief in the intelligence of the natural world and the value of bringing this knowledge forward.
Our ethos is simple: honour the wisdom of the past, continue learning through modern understanding, and create exceptional plant formulations with integrity, purpose and respect.
Mother Nature laid the foundations. Our craft is in understanding how to prepare them.
Terpenes are the medicinal molecules extracted from essential oils.
Their healing properties for a variety of disease and conditions have been studied for centuries. Terpenes are non-psychoactive, pungent hydrocarbons.
Terpenes can not only relieve chronic targeted pain, inflammation and muscle tension, they can be a very relevant alternative to anxiety and depression medications.
Greenman creates plant-derived formulations combining MCT coconut oil with carefully selected botanical terpenes.
Terpenes are naturally occurring aromatic compounds produced by plants. They contribute to a plant's distinctive scent and play important roles within the botanical world.
Each Greenman formulation contains its own specific blend of terpenes, selected to create a targeted botanical profile.
Because every formula is different, please refer to the individual product page for its recommended use and protocol.
Terpenes are natural compounds produced by plants, herbs, fruits, flowers and trees.
They're responsible for many of the aromas you already recognise — the linalool associated with lavender, limonene found in citrus, pinene associated with pine, and beta-caryophyllene found across plants such as black pepper, cloves and cannabis.
But terpenes are much more than aroma.
They are bioactive botanical compounds that are increasingly being studied for the ways they interact with biological systems.
At Greenman, terpenes are at the heart of what we do.
Our formulations use naturally derived botanical terpenes sourced from plants.
We carefully combine individual terpenes to create purposeful botanical profiles rather than relying on artificial flavours or fragrances.
The botanical source can vary depending on the terpene — the important thing is the terpene molecule itself and the quality of the ingredient.
MCT stands for medium-chain triglycerides — fats that are naturally present in coconut oil.
Greenman uses MCT oil as the carrier for our terpene formulations because it is stable, remains liquid at normal temperatures and provides a practical way to dilute and deliver concentrated botanical compounds.
Our carrier is based around the C8 and C10 medium-chain triglycerides.
Pure terpenes are highly concentrated and aren't intended to simply be consumed undiluted.
MCT oil allows us to formulate terpenes at controlled concentrations and provides a consistent carrier for each Greenman blend.
It also has a relatively neutral flavour, allowing the natural botanical character of the terpenes to remain present.
Our botanical terpene formulations are made using terpenes derived from botanical sources other than cannabis or hemp.
A terpene is not exclusive to one plant. For example, beta-caryophyllene occurs naturally in cannabis, but it is also found in black pepper, cloves and many other plants. Linalool occurs in lavender as well as cannabis, while limonene occurs abundantly in citrus.
The same terpene molecule can therefore occur across many completely different plant species.
Please check the individual product page and ingredient list, particularly for any Greenman products specifically identified as containing hemp-derived ingredients.
Cannabis research played an important role in bringing modern attention to terpenes and the complex ways plant compounds can work together.
That research helped inspire Greenman's deeper exploration of botanical terpenes.
Our cannabis leaf represents that history while recognising something much bigger: the remarkable chemistry shared throughout the entire plant kingdom.
Botanical terpenes themselves are not THC and do not produce the intoxicating "high" associated with THC.
However, different botanical compounds can have noticeable effects for some people, and individual responses vary.
Always check the specific product information before use.
Our botanical terpene formulations do not contain THC simply because they contain terpenes also found in cannabis.
Standard drug testing generally looks for specific drugs or their metabolites rather than terpenes such as limonene, linalool or beta-caryophyllene.
However, no company can guarantee the outcome of every type of drug test, and formulations containing hemp-derived ingredients should be considered separately.
If drug testing is important for your employment, sport or another requirement, check the full ingredient list for the specific Greenman product before using it.
Greenman products do not all follow the same protocol.
The appropriate amount, timing and frequency depend on the formulation you are using.
You'll find the recommended protocol on the individual product page for your Greenman product.
Follow that protocol rather than applying the dosing instructions from one Greenman formulation to another.
There isn't one universal Greenman dose.
Each formulation has been created differently, so the recommended starting amount and frequency may vary between products.
Please follow the protocol provided on the individual product page.
More is not automatically better. Start with the recommended protocol and pay attention to how your body responds.
Everyone responds differently.
Some people may notice a botanical formulation relatively quickly, while for others the experience may be more subtle or become apparent with consistent use.
Timing can also depend on the formulation, amount used, individual physiology and reason for using the product.
We recommend following the individual product protocol consistently before deciding how well a formulation suits you.
There is no single timeframe that applies to everyone or every Greenman formulation.
The experience can vary depending on the product, dose, individual metabolism and other factors.
Rather than automatically taking another dose after a set number of hours, follow the recommended protocol for your specific product.
Because some products share individual terpenes, we recommend following the instructions provided with your bundle rather than simply taking the full individual protocol for every product at once.Absolutely. Many of our formulations can be used alongside one another as part of a broader wellbeing plan.
We have also created Greenman Bundles that pair complementary formulations together, with specific use instructions designed to help you get the most out of your plan.
Natural does not automatically mean interaction-free.
Plant compounds can interact with biological pathways, and some may influence the way medications are absorbed, metabolised or experienced.
If you take prescription medication — particularly medication with a narrow therapeutic range, sedating medicines, anticoagulants or multiple medications — speak with your doctor, pharmacist or qualified healthcare professional before adding a concentrated botanical product.
Never reduce or stop prescribed medication because you feel better after starting a Greenman product without discussing it with the healthcare professional managing your treatment.
Children aren't simply smaller adults, and concentrated botanical ingredients should be approached accordingly.
Whether a Greenman product is appropriate for a child depends on the specific formulation, ingredients, age and individual circumstances.
Check the individual product information before use. Where appropriate, we recommend discussing use with a suitably qualified healthcare professional.
Keep all Greenman products stored safely out of reach of children.
We have created Companion – Pet Support Oil specifically for animals, using a carefully selected pet-safe botanical terpene formula.
Animals metabolise plant compounds differently from humans, so we recommend using Companion rather than giving your pet a Greenman formulation designed for people.
Follow the pet-specific dosing protocol provided with Companion. If your pet has an existing medical condition or takes medication, we recommend speaking with your veterinarian before introducing a new concentrated botanical product.
No.
Greenman MCT oil formulations are not intended to be used as vape liquids or inhaled through an electronic cigarette or vaporiser.
Oil-based formulations and concentrated botanical compounds should only be used according to the directions supplied with the individual product.
No. You do not need to take Greenman products alongside food.
However, our terpene formulations naturally have a strong botanical taste. If you don't enjoy the taste, or if you have a sensitive stomach when taking oils, you can take your product alongside food.
Always follow the recommended use instructions for your specific Greenman formulation.
Terpenes are highly aromatic compounds, so Greenman formulations naturally have distinctive botanical flavours and aromas.
If you're particularly sensitive, follow the lowest recommended starting protocol for the specific product rather than immediately increasing the amount.
Stop using the product if you experience an unexpected or concerning reaction.
We recommend speaking with your midwife, doctor or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional before using concentrated terpene formulations during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
The absence of a synthetic ingredient doesn't automatically establish safety during pregnancy.
Please check the full ingredient list on the individual product before use.
Botanical ingredients can cause sensitivities or allergic reactions in some people, even when they are naturally derived.
If you have known plant, fragrance or food allergies, review the ingredients carefully before use.
Keep your Greenman products tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Terpenes are volatile botanical compounds, so protecting them from heat, light and unnecessary air exposure helps maintain the integrity of the formulation.
Always follow any additional storage instructions printed on the bottle or individual product page.
This depends entirely on the product and its recommended protocol.
Because different Greenman formulations use different amounts and frequencies, two 50 ml bottles may last very different lengths of time.
The individual product page provides the protocol you can use to estimate approximately how long your bottle should last.
The terpene profile.
Different plants produce different combinations of terpenes, and individual terpenes have their own chemical characteristics.
Instead of putting the same generic terpene mixture into every bottle, Greenman creates distinct formulations with different terpene profiles for different intended uses.
That's why you'll see ingredients such as beta-caryophyllene, limonene, linalool, pinene, myrcene, humulene, nerolidol and others appearing in different combinations throughout the range.
Start with what you're actually trying to support.
Each product page explains the purpose of that formulation, its terpene profile and its recommended protocol so you can compare the range.
If you're still unsure, get in touch with the Greenman team and tell us what you're looking for support with.
We can point you toward the most relevant product information so you can make an informed choice.
Greenman botanical terpene formulations are not a replacement for medical diagnosis, treatment or prescribed medication.
Our products are designed to support wellbeing through carefully formulated plant-derived compounds.
If you have a diagnosed medical condition, persistent symptoms or are undergoing medical treatment, we recommend discussing any new supplement or concentrated botanical product with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
